Presentation of the initial work on the design associated with the creation of “Archaeological Park Goytapa " was held at the Presidium of ANAS.

Vice - president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli opened the meeting and emphasized the historical significance of this monument. When President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev had a trip to the western region in 2012, he reviewed the results of a study of the Neolithic monument Goytapa and signed a decree “Archaeological Park Goytapa attached to ANAS”, scientist noted.

Head of Expeditionary Unit " Archaeological Park Goytapa”, PhD in history Farhad Guliyev and associate professor of the Faculty of Architecture , Istanbul Technical University Zeyneb Ayres made speeches about great importance for the study of early civilizations in Neolithic Goytapa, in Tovuz town.
