By the organization of ANAS Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, was held the event devoted to the 1st European Games "Baku-2015" on July 8. At the event were discussed results of the games and a role of the youth organization of ANAS.

Chairman of the Council, PhD in physics, Professor Famin Salmanov told about the 1st European Games which held at the high level, as a significant event in the sporting history and about creation of great opportunities, including promotion of national values.

The chairman of Council noted a role of the sports event, carried-out at the high level by the President of the AR Ilham Aliyev and the President of European Games Organizing Committee, first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

Making speech about high achievements of our country at the 1st European Games "Baku-2015", F.Salmanov noted that according to the number of won medals Azerbaijan ranked the 2nd place among the participating countries.

Was noted that, the opening and closing ceremonies of the games highlighted the Azerbaijan rich spiritual and historical colorings, and it was a high expression of patriotic feelings.

Then ANAS young scientists and specialists, who were volunteers, told about earned experience at this grandiose sport holiday and shared cordial impressions.

At the event also was presented gencalimler.az site and "Young researcher" scientific journal.
