Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

3rd assembly of intergovernmental working group of joint projects for science and innovation between Azerbaijan and Belarus was held in Minsk, capital of Belarus on November 26-28, 2015. Assembly was chaired by academician-secretary of Belarusian National Academy of Sciences, Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Orlovich Valentin Antonovich, academician-secretary of Belarusian National Academy of Sciences Alexander Kilchevskiy, including acting Academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Physical-Mathematical and Technical Sciences, corresponding member of ANAS Nazim Mammadov. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Akhramovich G.B, Deputy head of the International Relations Department of ANAS Presidium Administration, Zarifa Aliyeva, head physician of the National Diagnostic Center of the Ministry of Health Rauf Agayev, Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, chief Department of Information Society Development Isbandiyar Aliyev attended the meeting as well.

Meeting discussed the issues and implemented projects which had put in the 2nd meeting of the Working group. It was noted that, collaboration among Science Development Foundation under AR, Belarusian National Academy of Sciences and Fundamental Research Foundation of the Republic of Belarus has contributed for implementation of the projects.

Corresponding member of ANAS Nazim Mammadov informed about analyzing of joint institutional projects between ANAS and Belarus National Academy of Sciences.

Deputy Chief of International Relations Department Zarifa Aliyeva spoke on ties between aforementioned two organizations and stated that, Treaty which was signed among Science Development Foundation under AR, Belarusian National Academy of Sciences and Fundamental Research Foundation of the Republic of Belarus will make wide opportunity for collaboration of academies in future.

Broad exchange of views was held on organizing regular meetings by joint participation of the young scientists of both countries, involving young researchers to innovative projects, and other issues.

Then, Protocol project of 3rd Working group was signed by academician-secretary of DPMTS Nazim Mammadov from Azerbaijan and academician-secretary A.Kilchevskiy and V.Orlovich from Belarus.

Members of the Working group have decided to hold next meeting in Baku, 2016.
