Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

By the decision of chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov dated August 6, 2012, teacher staff working at the ANAS Nakhchivan Department and Nakhchivan State University has developed 3 volume of “Nakhchivan history” book. The publication is a monumental monographic research, which reflects ancient history, level of development during separate stages, prominent political-literary personalities and the struggle for independence of this integral part of Azerbaijan. National leader Heydar Aliyev’s merits for ensuring independence of Azerbaijan and its strengthening ways as the chairman of the Supreme Assembly, are reflected in the book as well.

Taking into account above-mentioned, Presidium of ANAS made a decision on submission of authors’ board of 3 volume of “Nakhchivan history” book to the State Prize of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2016. ANAS Department of Humanities and Department of Social Sciences were charged to solve documentation issues necessary for submission to State Prize of AR.
