Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On December 18, 2013 at Institute of soil science and agrochemicals (ISA) of ANAS was held the reporting meeting of institute for 2013.

Action was opened by the director of Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, academician Mamed Salmanov and gave the information on agenda questions. The Director of ISA, corresponding member of ANAS Magerram Babayev made the report on scientific and and organizing activity of institute in 2013. It was noted that scientific researches of staff of the institute, conducted within “A state program on providing with the population food in AR in 2008-2015”, were directed on increase of efficiency of use of land and water resources, development of agrarian sector, and also increase of personnel potential. At institute research works were carried out on 2 problems, 14 subjects, and 86 stages. It was noted that in the current year the staff of institute published 4 monographs and books, 211 articles (35 abroad), 2 theses (1 abroad). M. Babayev gave also detailed information on results of the scientific researchers conducted at institute, on the published scientific works, personnel preparation, grant projects, problems and prospects. The discussion was attended Corresponding member Mahmoud Abdullayev, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Vilayat Hasanov, Ph.D. in biology Tubuhanim Gasimzadeh, PhD in agricultural sciences Pirverdi Samedov, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor Pasha Zamanov and Zeynalabdin Movsumov.
