Noting that both in our country and around the world carried out important research in the field of mud volcanoes, A.Aliyev underlined that, new scientific results in relation to issues concerning their education were achieved on a global scale, geographical distribution, as well as links with oil and gas content and seismicity.

He noted that, studies carried out by employees of the department headed by him in collaboration with scientists from the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, are devoted to the comparative analysis of the problem of mud volcanism in both countries, in particular mineralogy of volcanic emissions.

Formed by the natural way gold, silver, lead, copper and other elements that were found in the Black Sea mud volcanoes and in the Kerch Peninsula, as a result of the study of accessory mineralization volcanic breccia, creating a need for extensive research in the same direction in Azerbaijan.
