"Energy Efficiency of the Economy: Problems Today and Tomorrow" monograph was published in Ukraine as a joint cooperation between Institute of Natural Resources of Nakhchivan Branch of ANAS and Poltava State Technical University, a entitled.

Head of the Economics department of the Institute and co-author of the monograph Sevinj Jabbarova’s "Peculiarities of energy efficiency of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" article are reflected in the monograph.

The article describes history of the transition of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from import to export in the field of energy efficiency, current state and development trends. It also tells about investments in this area and various international agreements, as well as the use of renewable energy sources in the autonomous republic. In the article the author shows that the use of renewable and alternative energy sources will lead to an increase in the energy efficiency of the region as a whole.

At the end of the book, the authors give recommendations on the development of renewable energy.
