The next meeting of the UNESCO Working Group on Comparative Study of Spiritual Traditions and Interreligious Dialogue was held with organizational support of ANAS Central Scientific Library.

The members of the Working Group were from different countries - Senior Research Fellow of the Institute of Law and Human Rights of ANAS Rizvan Huseynov, associate professor of the Department of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage Protection on the basis of the Russian Institute for Scientific and Cultural Heritage named after D.S.Likhachov Alina Venkova, unkranian historian-archeologist Tatyana Krupa, Director of the Archeological Research Center of the A.H.Margulan State Pedagogical Institute of Kazakhstan Teymur Sangulov and Director of the Scientific Library of Pavlodar State Pedagogical University Roza Igibayeva.

During the session, Central Scientific Library of ANAS elected a member of the UNESCO Working Group.

The working group supported the idea of ​​establishing an International Center for Research, Protection and Popularization of cultural and historical heritage under the CSL, and also called for the preparation of the UNESCO Chair.

It should be noted that at the first session of the UNESCO Working Group, organized by CSL in April this year, has been made the decision on the study of the ethnographic and cultural heritage of the republic, its passportization and protection, as well as the preparation of a project on the restoration of ancient monuments in the western region of Azerbaijan .
