Aalong with the bodies of the Solar System, observations and studies of bright stars are also carried out at Batabat Astrophysical Observatory of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS.

In the summer and autumn of this year, the observatory provides for extensive field observations together with the staff of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory of ANAS.

Currently, the brightest stars are being selected for research and theoretical methods for monitoring them are being developed.

In observational and research activities, along with employees of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, representatives of the TERSKOL Observatory located in the North Caucasus of the Russian Federation are also planning to participate.
