Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

On February 23, the National Azerbaijan History Museum of ANAS hosted an exhibition called "The State of Shirvanshahs".

The event was attended by art and culture figures, historians, museum staff, members of the Museum's Young Museum and Museum of Musicians.

Director of the museum, academician Naila Velikhanli said that the purpose of the exhibition is to inform the audience about the political, administrative, economic, military qualities of the Shirvanshahs state, which is one of the most important pages of our history.

Then the curator of the exhibition, the head of the Scientific-exposition and exhibition organization department of the museum, PhD in history Sabuhi Ahmedov gave detailed information about the exhibition.

It was noted that the materials found in archaeological excavations conducted in Baku, Shamakhi, Shabran and other areas are exhibited at the museum after cleaning and restoration works at the Museum Restoration Laboratory.

The exhibition will last till May 15.
